Idol just announced the release date for Dallas punky power trio Here Holy Spain‘s debut CD, Manic, as April 7, though you don’t have to wait until then to hear it. The album is streaming on the band’s Last.FM site, and you can cop an advance copy through iTunes as early as March 3.
But a hard copy may be worth the wait, as it includes cover art by The Crow creator James O’Barr.
Check the band out when it performs with Dead Twins at The Prophet Bar next Friday or at the Double-Wide March 14 with Lions. They’re also playing a couple of SXSW dates, including the March 21 Idol showcase at Mother Egan’s.
