Music Scene Live is a relatively new venture that takes a live performance and interview from a local artist and broadcasts it to the airwaves. Recorded at Fort Worth’s Thirsty Armadillo every Saturday afternoon at 1:30p.m., and set to air on KFYN 1420AM every Thursday at 3pm, the show’s already got an archive, so it’s not brand new, but it is a cool thing to do on a Saturday afternoon, possibly when it’s raining. Or if you’re just itching to get off the Internet and find some new music.

It’s hosted by Fort Worth singer-songwriters Allison & Stone, and past shows have featured locals Emmeline, Kevin Higgins and Kolton Moore. This Saturday features The Monumental Band and jazz singer Karyna Micaela. It’s free and open to the public. You might just discover you favorite new act.
