Show Announcements: O.A.R., Ghostland Observatory, Bob Goblin, Record Hop, Azure Ray, Moenia and Others

Dave Matthews has announced that he and his band will be taking all of 2011 off.

It's tragic news for frat boys everywhere.

Summer plans to follow them on tour have been shattered as their beloved "Dave" takes a breather.

Never fear, though, young misguided music lover: O.A.R. is starting to ramp up its game in a presumed effort to pick up the table scraps next year--and that means they'll be at House Of Blues on Wednesday, September 22.

Tickets will be on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. for $29.50 a pop over at Live Nation. No, House Of Blues doesn't have any lawn seats, and dancing space is limited, but it just might be enough to get you through the beginning of 2011.

In completely unrelated concert news: Austin electro wizards-and-indians band Ghostland Observatory has just announced that it'll be bringing its show to the Palladium Ballroom on Saturday, October 30. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster on Friday at 10 a.m.
