It's been quite a few years since Austin's Spoon played an open-to-the-public show in Dallas. Odd considering that most notable Austin acts play in Dallas at least a few times a year. But that's what makes this show announcement so special.

On Thursday, April 12, Spoon will perform at Granada Theater. Tickets will be available on Saturday, March 10, at 10 a.m. for $35 at the Granada ticket website.

In other show announcement news, over the last four years, Jane's Addiction have slowly (as is expected of old guys) regained some of the momentum of their early years. The release of The Great Escape Artist last year guaranteed an upcoming tour. And this week the band announced the tour would pass through Dallas at the McFarlin Auditorium on Thursday, May 10. Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster on Friday, March 9, at 10 a.m.
