For those not keeping track of today's American Airlines chat-chat concerning the airline's $20 fare hike over the weekend, AA spokesbot Tim Wagner just posted this breaking news in the comments section:
We pulled the entire increase this afternoon. The fare increase that we initiated Friday night did not stick.
And there's your answer to, "I hate fees, why don't you just raise fares?"
