Roger Staubach's Next Pass. Er, Pitch.

When the Texas Rangers open the 2010 season a week from day in Arlington they'll have a legendary, championship-winning arm on the mound. If just for one pitch.

Former Dallas Cowboy and NFL Hall of Famer Roger Staubach will throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Rangers host the Toronto Blue Jays.

Last year ol' George Dubya tossed out the initial pitch and the Rangers tantalized us for most of the summer during an 87-75 season. Roger's certainly an upgrade, so ...

I'm thinking with him having led the push to bring next February's Super Bowl XLV to Arlington it's the logical, and perfect choice. For once the Rangers got it exactly right.

By the way, over/under for Rangers' wins this season is 84.5. I got a hunskee on the over. Who's with me?
