As foretold by Saint Delkus the Wise’ Monday prophecy, Dallas is going to get some more shitty weather, starting this morning. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for most of North Texas, including Dallas County, that predicts up to two inches of snow on Friday, then freezing rain and accumulating ice on Saturday.
With Friday and Saturday temperatures projected to be about 10 degrees colder than was expected earlier this week, the NWS warns that accumulations of winter precipitation are possible on all roads. Bridges will make you spin out Mario Kart-style, forecasters didn’t say but should have.
So there you have it. Do as you would Dallas. Batten down the hatches. Attach the snow chains. Buy all the bread and Temptress you can find. Winter is coming. Again.
