Hi Barbie! Happy early Valentine’s Day!
Next weekend, Barbie is collaborating with Sweet Loren’s to celebrate the day of love in sweet style. The two brands are releasing a limited edition pink heart-shaped sugar cookie dough and taking it on the road in a hot pink food truck to give away free cookies all weekend.
Sweet Loren’s describes itself as an “allergen-friendly” cookie brand, meaning the cookies and cookie dough they sell is free from the top 14 allergens, according to the Food Standards Agency. These include gluten, dairy, eggs and nuts.
The collaboration with Barbie also incorporates the Barbie Dream Gap Project, an initiative that aims to build the confidence of young girls around the world. Since 2019, the project has donated $250,000 each year to various nonprofit organizations. As for the partnership with Sweet Loren’s, the two brands are supporting Girls With Impact, a Connecticut-based nonprofit designed to cultivate youth entrepreneurship.
To get in on the action, Sweet Loren’s and Barbie are sending cookie food trucks outside four North Texas grocery stores next weekend, giving away free cookies to patrons as well as offering a chance to win free cookie dough for a year.
