Daryl Reaugh, the Dallas Stars’ beleaguered-of-late broadcaster and a Canadian to boot, wonders today why Election Day in the U.S. and A. isn’t a national holiday, then makes his case for such. To which he adds:
Oh, and since I can’t vote I will use the free time as a personal “Day of Pondering, Reflecting and Idea Hamsterring.” Something that of course is best achieved on a golf course. 36 holes and a couple Danny’s Specials in the 19th Hole at Royal Oaks should get the job done. Golf the Vote!
