Well this should be sober. The Idle Rich Pub on McKinney is hosting its annual Irish Whiskey Tasting on Monday, January 16, from 6 to 8 p.m.
This is a casual, free-flowing event with no formal presentations or lectures. They’ll provide an information packet and a tasting guide. Smell, swirl, sip, do whatever it is that Irish whiskey drinkers do at your own leisure.
Reservations are strongly suggested, since the event typically sells out (call them at 214.965.9926). The $25 cost per person covers the whiskey, cheese and some gratuitous giveaways such as glassware, books, and t-shirts from the distilleries.
