The Libertine Bar sent along details about its December 29 holiday beer dinner, as well as a pair of tickets for one lucky City of Ate reader.

Or rather, for the purposes of this contest, “one unlucky City of Ate reader” would be more accurate. Winning the tickets would be fortunate, but it will actually be something of a consolation prize for your worst holiday memory. See contest details after the jump and you’ll understand.

The dinner features five Christmas and holiday beers along with five holiday dishes from around the world. After the jump you’ll find the full lineup of beers as well as the menu, and an explanation of how you can win them while giving our new commenting system a workout.

This month’s beer dinner is set for 7 p.m. next Wednesday, December 29, and features the following:

Second Course: Green Curry with Shrimp & Eggplant (Thailand)
Third Course: Pork Pozole (Mexico)
Fourth Course: Cordero Asado — Roasted Leg of Lamb (Spain)
Fifth Course: Buche de Noel (France)

But get right on it. Contest ends at
