Life In Deep Ellum was packed with collectable toys and the humans who love them last night as Vinyl Thoughts launched into its third installment. For the uninitiated, the event is a celebration of customizable figurines that have been chopped up, razored down, reformed and painted. The new designs are then bought or bid on by those attending. Each of these mini conventions hinges around a theme, and for Thursday’s event artists tackled the concept of illustration.
