For a limited time, while supplies last, at participating restaurants … McDonald’s is unleashing the green fury of the Christmas season.
McDonald’s has been offering celebrity meals since 1992, when it introduced the McJordan Special, primarily in the Chicago area, during Michael Jordan’s time on the court. (It was a Quarter Pounder with cheese, bacon, barbecue sauce and a few other toppings.)
Then in 2020, it started rolling out meals more regularly with celebrities including Travis Scott, Mariah Carey, BTS and Cardi B and Offset. Each time, meals were created or tweaked with the celebrity’s favorite things.
Now the Golden Arches is leaning into the holidays with Dr. Seuss’s The Grinch Meal.

What’s in it?
The highlight of this new meal is Dill Pickle McShaker Fries. Customers will open a small bag of tangy salt, “Grinch Salt,” and sprinkle it into the fry bag, then give it a good shake. The result is pickle-salted fries, which actually sounds amazing.
The order also comes with either a Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets and a medium drink.
Each Grinch Meal also comes with a gift: a pair of Grinch socks, scribbled with messages from the Grinch himself. There are four colors, and it’s encouraged that they be used for stockings.
Where and where?
The Grinch Meal will be available on December 2 at participating locations, which simply means driving around until you see the signs on the windows.
