Delilah is a glamorous supper club inspired by the art deco motifs of the Roaring ’20s. It’s made its mark in Los Angeles, Miami and Vegas, and for two years now, whispers of the Dallas location opening have been a repeat visitor around our dining tables.
On Wednesday, the H Wood Group behind the restaurant took to Instagram to announce that Delilah Dallas will officially open on Tuesday, Feb. 3.
If you’re a Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card holder, you can get access to a preview dinner Delilah is hosting on Wednesday, Jan. 28. Reservations for that are live now on OpenTable.
If you’re eager to dine, be sure to check both OpenTable and the platform SevenRooms. It appears they are using OpenTable only for the preview dinner and SevenRooms for their main reservation system.
Already, opening day is fully booked, and the only times available through Wednesday, Feb. 11, are 10 p.m. or later. It’s also booked out for Valentine’s Day.
Why the Hype?
Delilah has been a “see-and-be-seen” destination in all the other cities it has dazzled. The West Hollywood location has seen the likes of Drake, Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Kendall Jenner and The Weeknd.
The restaurant’s no-phone policy is likely a huge contributing factor to this. As is the upscale environment, live entertainment and seamless transition into an exciting nightlife experience.
But people aren’t flocking to Delilah Dallas with hopes to see an A-list celebrity. We know that much to be true.
Dallas has been seeing a massive uptick in glitzy new restaurants, domestic and international investors are flocking here to get involved with our growing hospitality scene, and it seems to be an exciting time as restaurants pop up out of the ground like daisies.
Or perhaps in this case, dahlias?
Delilah hopes to stand out from the other glitzy steakhouses/supper clubs that have opened by having a strong commitment to the vibes and also by having live entertainment inspired by clubs from the ’20s and ’30s.
It’s rumored that live singers and even burlesque dancers will take the stage at Delilah, and it pains us to say that one of the restaurant’s most popular dishes is chicken tenders.
Will it be all glitz and no substance? Surely the celebrity A-listers have taste? Only time will tell if one can get in.
Delilah will open on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 1616 Hi Line Drive in the Design District. Hours to be determined, but we do know they’re open late.
