The Grapevine native is featured in new ads for Kim Kardashian’s lifestyle (mostly underwear) brand. The campaign, which dropped today, features our precious Posty in various realtree camouflage getups.
The all-camo looks include a matching heavyweight fleece sweatsuit, a cotton T-shirt, and, of course, underwear. The skivvies, which start at $26, come in briefs and boxer briefs, with Posty donning the latter. The most expensive piece in the collection is the zip-up hoodie, which runs for $188.
GQ caught up with the “I Had Some Help” singer I between shots from a ranch in Oakley, Utah — though he’s unabashed in his love for Texas, he now calls Utah home.
“They just had me butt-naked in the woods. And that was something different, but it was fun,” Posty told GQ from the set of the shoot. “Well, not full naked. I had Skims on, but it was the first time I’ve ever experienced it. And it was really a lot of fun, it made me feel like a handsome son of a bitch.”
Though an underwear campaign might not seem like an on-brand move for him, we won’t be reticent in saying he looks hot as hell.
His interview with GQ does peel back a little bit on his personal life. He talks about navigating fatherhood and watching WWE in his downtime on tour (like a true true North Texan), but the interview largely serves as a promotional vehicle for the new Skims drop.
“It is so soft on my stuff. My special stuff,” he tells the magazine about the underwear.
Posty is currently on his “Big Ass World Tour” with Jelly Roll, which came through AT&T Stadium earlier this summer. Still, he’s hoping the new campaign will elicit distractions.
“Well, hopefully I get a text from a bunch of ladies,” he told GQ. “I mean, that’s the bit. But we’ll see.”
Who’s got his number? Asking for friends and also ourselves.
A Skims store is set to open at NorthPark soon, but in the meantime, the new camo collection launches online on Aug. 21 at 7 a.m.
