We at the Observer are super excited about our next members’ supper club, not because it’s one of our favorite pizza places — it’s actually three (!) of our favorites.

On Nov. 12 at 7 p.m., Cane Rosso at White Rock Lake (7328 Gaston Road) will host our next supper club. The six-course menu will be paired with wine. Dinner cost $85 per person (plus ticket fees). Tickets include tax and tip.

Why Cane Rosso

Cane Rosso is a Neapolitan pizza and Italian restaurant with several locations across North Texas. It’s long been one of our favorites, and even Guy Fieri likes it — even though it’s not really a diner, drive-in or dive — but we’re not here to quibble.

Editor's Picks

Founder of Cane Rosso, Jay Jerrier, is an equal opportunity pizza man, though. He has two other pizza spots in town: Thunderbird Pies with Detroit-style pizza, and Zoli’s, which serves New York’s finest slice. These three make up his PILF Restaurant Group.

At this supper club, members will get the chance to have all three styles of pizza at one dinner (menu to be released soon).

How You Can Join

This will be our fourth members’ supper club. We created these intimate gatherings to meet and get to know our members, readers who value the free and unfettered journalism we’ve been spearheading in Dallas for more than two decades. Members support our newsroom by making either a one-time or recurring contribution.

If you’re already a member, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to purchase a ticket. If you’re not a member, you can make a one-time or recurring contribution, and you’ll get the email.

Space is quite limited, however, so please act quickly if you’d like to join us.
