“Dallas Beer Week” is returning this year as North Texas Beer Week, an eight-day event from November 9 to 16 that will highlight the people, places and brews that make up the region’s craft-beer scene.
North Texas Beer Week is now a locally owned and operated event. Chad Montgomery of the Big Texas Beer Fest and Corey Pond of The Common Table are a few of the key actors here. According to the website, the previous owners of Dallas Beer Week handed over the reigns to the new local board of directors.
NTX Beer Week will involve dozens of restaurants, bars, pubs and breweries in the area, each featuring a variety of beer dinners, rare tappings, special releases, lectures and classes, as well as brewer meet-and-greets.
On November 9 there will be a big kick-off event, Texas Brewvolution, at Fair Park, featuring 35 Texas brewers and brewpubs along with food trucks, local artists, music and a variety of other businesses that all take part in the craft-beer scene in Texas.
