Jill Scott is an obvious fit for the bill, with her soulful singing style anchored by a love for poetry and feminine identity, while Queen Latifah, better known for her early hip-hop career (and dud movies like Taxi) may surprise the Sugar Water crowd with the booming singing voice she only hinted at in the movie version of Chicago.
