    About Us:

    Voice Events & Entertainment is a dynamic and forward-thinking events management company dedicated to creating memorable and impactful experiences. We specialize in organizing a wide range of events – including national and regional events. We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Event Programming Manager with a strong focus on restaurant outreach to lead our programming initiatives and drive the success of our events. This role offers an incredible opportunity for additional commission-based earnings as you build partnerships with restaurants and collaborate on unique experiences.

    Job Summary:

    As the Event Programming Manager with a focus on restaurant outreach, your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain relationships with restaurants, chefs, and culinary partners. You will work closely with these partners to curate engaging and content-rich events and promotions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Restaurant Partnerships: Identify, reach out to, and establish partnerships with restaurants, chefs, and culinary experts for participation in signature events & ongoing promotions. Your commission will be directly tied to the revenue generated through these partnerships.

    • Event Conceptualization: Collaborate with restaurant partners to develop new event concepts that drive sales and elevate the event experience.

    • Budget Management: Negotiate and manage programming budgets for each event, ensuring maximum returns for both the restaurant partners and the organization.

    • Event Coordination: Oversee the logistical aspects of restaurants activations at signature events & ongoing promotions.

    • Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback from partners & attendees and identify areas for improvement.


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field.

    • Proven experience in event programming and restaurant outreach, with a track record of exceeding sales targets.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills – written and verbal.

    • Culinary knowledge and an understanding of the restaurant industry.

    • Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining partnerships.

    • Strong organizational, leadership, problem solving and time management skills.

    • Assertive, goal-oriented and self-motivated, with a passion for driving sales.

    • Ability to multitask, handle pressure and work under deadlines, delivering exceptional results.

    • Ability to think creatively, be innovative, and deliver a “WOW” event experience.

    • Ability to work cross-functionally to reach common project goals, maximizing your collaborative sales efforts.

    • Travel required.

    Dallas Observer Marketing department is seeking outgoing individuals interested in events and promotions to
    assist the marketing department on a part—time Independent Contractor basis.

    This is an opportunity to explore DFW and all it has to offer. In addition, individuals will gain hands—on experience in grassroots campaigns, special event production, social media marketing, and more. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Working all Dallas Observer Signature Events: BrewFest, The Morning After Bruch Event, and Tacolandia

    • Attending Dallas Observer Client Events

    • Email List Growth & Marketing
