Black Forest Theater

Homegirl Erykah Badu renovated this run-down 1940s South Dallas movie house into a gorgeous, artist-centric space where creativity and community rule. Like the city's very own Apollo, Black Forest hosts some of the best in local soul, hip-hop and R&B. All proceeds go to BLIND, a charity for inner-city youth.
