Local Filmmakers Tease a New Documentary on Descendents/All

This morning, a teaser trailer for Filmage, a documentary on punk bands Descendents and All, went online. Not surprisingly, the clip spread like wildfire amongst fans who remember the band back in the '80s with Milo Goes to College, those who saw them with Pummel and Everything Sucks in the '90s, and those just now discovering them thanks to Green Day and Blink-182.

A couple of local filmmakers and longtime fans, Deedle LaCour and Matt Riggle, along with Red Animal War/Saboteur's Justin Wilson, have been working on this for the last few years. Judging by the teaser, it looks incredibly promising, especially since this legendary band's story has never been properly documented before.

The film isn't finished yet, but there's hope it could be seen at SXSW next year. Check it out:
