As it is every year, the 2016 version Dirk Nowitzki's Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game was a lighthearted night of laughs and smiles as professional athletes from the Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and more got together for a night of sloppy baseball in Frisco at the Dr Pepper Ballpark in the name of charity. For the third year in a row, since Nowitzki took over the annual event by the Heroes Foundation, the game was a sellout and featured a who's who of local sports heroes: Jordan Spieth, Michael Young, Tyron Smith, Cole Beasley and local celebrities such as Chace Crawford and the Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher. The White Sox, managed by Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle, won 16-12 with Mavs forward Dwight Powell taking home the MVP award. All photos by Mikel Galicia.
