In his absence, Cripps' friends threw him a birthday party at Dan's Silverleaf in Denton on Friday, Jan. 5, 2018. Brave Combo, Brent Best, El Nuevo Mi Son, Isaac Hoskins, Paul Chesne, Chris Maxwell and A Taste Of Herb were all on the lineup for an emotional evening celebrating Cripps' life.
