Reality will soon be stranger than fiction, because all the hours you’ve spent binge-watching shows on Netflix are about to be put to the test.

A new immersive experience called Netflix House is coming to Galleria Dallas later this year.

Dallas is one of only two cities in the country that will be home to the streaming giant's latest project, which is set to boast more than 100,000 square feet of interactive challenges and courses. The Netflix House will open with two experiences based on breakout favorites: Stranger Things and Squid Game.

“Stranger Things: Escape The Dark,” will have brave participants fending off demogorgons as they search for missing people in the ruins of the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. Meanwhile, “Squid Game: Survive the Trials” will likely crush the hopes of many among the “I could have easily done that” armchair spectators.

A similar space will also open in Philadelphia this year, but will feature activations based on entirely different shows, making the Dallas location a one-of-a-kind experience.

While the Netflix House is planting permanent roots here, its courses will eventually cycle through other shows on a regular basis. According to a press release from Netflix, “you may have an entirely different adventure the next time you come back.”

Additionally, the space will house a game room called Netflix RePLAY, which will include “physical challenges, immersive story rooms, and retro-style games.”

In between the rush of wandering through Creel House and trying to cross the finish line of “Red Light, Green Light,” you can grab something to take the edge off at Netflix Bites. The casual concept will offer food and cocktails inspired by shows like Bridgerton and The Perfect Bite.

While no official date has been announced, Netflix House is slated to open in late 2025. You can sign up for a waitlist to get early access to tickets and updates, though.
