Shaquille O’Neal has been spotted around North Texas doing many good deeds for several years now, ever since he bought a home in Carrollton back in 2022. He has since put that house back on the market, but apparently relocated to Rockwall County.
Today, the 15-time NBA All-Star and co-host of Inside the NBA visited a 7-Eleven in Irving, signed items and took photos with “every single person in the crowd,” according to a press release, all to promote a new beverage.
While Shaq had a long and lucrative career in the NBA, he’s known to dabble in many investments off the court, like Big Chicken in Fort Worth, Papa John’s, Auntie Anne’s, car washes and 24 Hour Fitness. He also DJs under the moniker “DJ Diesel.”
Earlier this year, BeatBox Beverages out of Austin, which nabbed a cool million from Mark Cuban on Shark Tank, announced a partnership with the iconic hooper for an exclusive new flavor: Blueberry Lemonade.
BeatBox is a ready-to-drink beverage sold in sustainable “boxes” with resealable packaging. With an 11.1% ABV, this malt-based beverage is a “bold, boozy twist on the classic lemonade bursting with berry goodness,” according to a press release.
You can find the drink at 7-Eleven, Spec’s, Total Wine and More and other grocery and convenience stores.
Below are a few more photos from Shaq in Irving today.
