Update: BigX was arrested after an album release party in Dallas last night. We're following the story and will update as soon as we hear if this event is on. #FreeBigX

Today, Dallas rapper BigXthaPlug released his third studio album, I Hope You're Happy, with 11 tracks that feature an unusual array of country music collaborations. His summer anthem, "All The Way" featuring Bailey Zimmerman, remains the album's centerpiece, with new songs like "Pray Hard" featuring Luke Combs and the title track, "I Hope You're Happy" with Darius Rucker, primed to take over both the country and the rap charts.

Tonight, BigX fans will have the chance to celebrate the new release with the man himself. Wingstop is planning a late-night album release party at a Dallas Wingstop location, coinciding with the push of their chicken tenders and the rollout of new late-night hours.

The company filed a trademark for National Chicken Tender Day on July 27, an annual holiday that typically traces back to Raising Cane's founder, Todd Graves. The chicken wars have begun, it seems, and the only winner will be our stomachs. In addition, some Dallas Wingstop locations will now be open until 1 a.m., ripe for an album release party.
Wingstop wings were even briefly featured in the music video for BigX's single, "Home," featuring Shaboozey, making the chain the perfect partner for the release.

Wingstop will announce the address of the exact location on social media tonight at 8 p.m. To get in line and get inside, you'll have to show a receipt of a BOGO chicken tender order. Capacity will fill up quickly, so get there as soon as you can. BigX will arrive at the party later in the evening.
