Luckily hot coffee pop-up Eagle Cawfee helped keep people warm. Once inside, the bibliophiles flipped through books and sipped a special grand-opening cocktail: a fruity rum drink with pomegranate juice.

By "this," she means to relax, unwind, read a book, talk with friends and have a drink.
So, last year she started planning the space: romance books with a bar aspect. Her mom, Dawn Conner, with whom she shares an affinity with the Twilight series, helped her pull it together. Since their first post on Sept. 7, 2024, they have more than 11,000 Instagram followers.
Madison Trotter and her friends stood in line for almost an hour prior to the grand opening. They were there for the steamy plots but are also excited about the community that has already grown around the space prior to opening.
Plot Twist has engaged the community by creating a book club and also by highlighting authors, both in-person and virtually. This weekend they had 10 author signings. Previously, they've hosted tarot card seminars and other events.
The bar menu is book-inspired, and they have a full array of options, including coffee, tea, mocktails, and alcoholic cocktails.
