New Kids on the Block, 98 Degrees, Boyz II Men Friday, June 28, at American Airlines Center, $53-$93 Whoa. Just look at this bill. It's now 2013, so the New Kids definitely aren't so new anymore, and since they're all middle-aged, I'd say they've been around the block a time or two. Because the show isn't until June, you have plenty of time to pick out your outfit for Bill Hicks' favorite band.

Kelly Clarkson Friday, March 1, at Verizon Theatre, $83-$579 In an effort to help out the Opportunity Education Foundation, Kelly is headed back to her old stomping grounds for a benefit concert, and is still riding out the wave of buzz her fans generated over her 2011 release, Stronger. If you're into Clarkson, go to the show. You'll be doing more than just screaming (and probably butchering) "Since U Been Gone," you'll also be helping needy kiddos. Win-win.

Bullet For My Valentine Tuesday, April 23, at House of Blues, $29.99 Hey metalcore heads, Welch quartet Bullet for my Valentine will be headed to town after just releasing their 2013 full-length Temper Temper. Check out their new stuff, then head to House of Blues for them and openers Halestorm and Young Guns.

Kenny Chesney Saturday, May 11, at Cowboys Stadium, $17.72-$269.72 Kenny Chesney is one of those country musicians who has a catalogue that goes for days. It seems like every two or three years he puts out another greatest hits album. See him at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium this spring for what I can only assume will be one of Arlington's biggest traffic cluster fucks of 2013.

The Black Angels Saturday, May 25, at Granada Theater, $20-$35 Psych-rock deities The Black Angels are headed into town after their April 2 LP Indigo Meadow drops. That is, of course, if they survive Austin's Psych Fest on April 26-28. We shall see.
