Taste Dance: Addison Style! might just be the most misleading name for an event, ever. First of all, starting it with "Taste..." is clearly a cheap ploy to sucker in all the food-festival fans. Then there's the implication that Addison has its own dance style. The LeasaBeemer, perhaps? That's when an inebriated young woman grinds against an off-duty III Forks bartender during service-industry night. Or perhaps it refers to any dance that can be performed while smoking in a bar. Make up your own dance and name it for our neighbor to the north, or watch the experts from the Maguire School of Irish Dance, Dallas Ballet Company and others 2 p.m. Sunday at the Addison Conference Center, 15650 Addison Road. Tickets are $6 to $8 and free for kids under age 6. Call 214-219-2290 or visit thedancecouncil.org.
