I have great taste in music. It's probably because of my rating scale, which is a thumbs up or a thumbs down based on one question: Has your band covered "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"? The correct answer, of course, being "Yes, I have covered 'Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.' You may now put me on your iPod." Who makes the cut? Only the coolest bands ever. In alphabetical order: All 4 One, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Michael Bolton, The California Raisins, Hilary Duff, The Partridge Family and Frank Sinatra duetting with Cyndi Lauper (to name a few). Crossing my fingers that Chris Gaines will join soon. I heart his "I don't take orders from nobody" facial hair. Speaking of facial hair, I bet you'll see some 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Naughty or Nice (of course, a reference to the famous Christmas carol "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town") photography exhibit featuring the naughty- and nice-themed (naturally) work of Bill Owens, Keith Carter, George Krause and several others at PDNB Gallery, 1202 Dragon St. It's free and runs through December 29. Call 214-969-1852 or visit pdnbgallery.com.
Tuesdays-Saturdays, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Starts: Dec. 1. Continues through Dec. 29, 2007
