On November 5, the MPAC, located in the renovated historic Collin County Courthouse that was rumored to be haunted, will host a paranormal lecture series. Speakers for the event include Professor Jan Holden, author of The Handbook of Near-Death Experiences: Thirty years of Investigation; Timothy Barth,chair of the department of psychology at Texas Christian University; Michael John Weaver, director of the Texas Parapsychology Society; medium Marcel Cairo; and Ty Phillips, an investigator for the Texas Advance Research Team . Tickets for the event cost $17 when purchased online, or $20 the day of the event. The lecture runs from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
