When in doubt, craft a play about writing the life story of a South African student. By all means, include dance numbers. Make sure to have an emotional battle between that oh-so-elusive fame and a satisfying home life. Bruce Graham did those things and created According to Goldman, and now Circle Theatre's putting on a production of it with award-winning choreographer Jennifer Engler directing. Hmm, Goldman didn't even need to make a life decision…the play seems right at home in the spotlight at Circle Theatre. According to Goldman hits the stage Thursday. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Saturdays. A champagne opening takes place June 8. Circle Theatre is located at 230 W. Fourth St. in Fort Worth. Tickets are $10 to $30. Call 817-877-3040 or visit circletheatre.com.
