Excuse us if we've spent too much time covering Menkena in these past few weeks, sharing music videos with you, and giving you free songs off their debut record and all.

It's just that, you see, we've been sitting on With You I'll Travel, the full-length debut from the so-called acoustic shoegaze outfit, for over a year now. And we've been getting antsy four you all to hear the fine work from New York City transplant Jimmy Menkena, formerly of the punk outfit INDK, and his collaborators Nolan Thies, Mike Simmons, Toby Pipes and others -- if only so you could know what our slobbering has been about.

Expect a review of the disc in a very near print edition of DC9. But first, we recommend you check out a new music video from the band after the jump -- this one for the song "I'm One." It should provide you ample reason to check out the band tomorrow night at La Grange, as the band celebrates With You I'll Travel's release.
