In a quaint house that echoes the family-friendly setting (with the decibel level, to boot), proprietor Manny Rios serves family recipes, ones almost identical to Manny's Uptown big sister, Mia's Tex-Mex. The menu is a culinary blueprint of Tex-Mex, with everything from the brisket taco, a house specialty, to the ground beef "Alisa's changa" and the spinach enchilada available in the Southwestern-inspired interior or on the raucous patio packed with families and their restless broods. The Uptown barhopping mob and the after-work corporate horde amass at the bar for the house margaritas, though quite a few have been spied chugging Corona. This festive atmosphere and the ample eats have folks from all walks of life stepping through Manny's front door.
