Mi Cocina

You just feel nice eating out at Mi Cocina. Whether it's on the patio on a warm, breezy evening or inside, where the inventive lighting makes you feel like you're paying at least $10 more for every entrée than you really are, the place has style. Fellow patrons are ever so tastefully dressed and good-looking, from the families out for a trusty plate of Tex-Mex or the young ladies out for girl talk over a margarita. The food is reliably tasty but not spectacular, with the exception of the guacamole. Along with brownies and kittens, Mi Cocina's guac is proof that God loves us. The place's only fault is that waitstaff might be just a little too attentive. Then again, it's nice to always have a full glass of iced tea when you're scarfing down spicy dishes. It's also nice to always have a place like Mi Cocina to fall back on when, after trying every other place in town, you just want something satisfying.
