Watch: Will Johnson Joins Telegraph Canyon For A Performance Of "Shake Your Fist."

On Friday, May 21,

Doug Burr

celebrated the release of his new album,

O Ye Devastator

, with a performance at Dan's Silverleaf. it was quite the performance, too, featuring members of Austin's

Monahans

(including

O Ye Devastator

producer Britton Beisenherz).

But part what made the night such a treat--beyond just the fact that it featured a phenomenal display from Burr, as well as a stellar opening set from his trusty sideman, Glen Farris, and a rousing closing set from his labelmates in Telegraph Canyon--can be seen in the above clip.

During its set, Telegraph Canyon was joined on stage by Centro-matic's Will Johnson for a performance of its DOMA-nominated "Shake Your Fist." On record, Johnson, who produced The Tide and The Current, sings backup on the song. In the above clip, you can hear him do so live--for the first and only time.
