With a name including the word "diner," patrons would ostensibly imagine a greasy spoon famous for tacos. That ain't the case. Taco Diner's interior is sleek and modern. Light wood, purple-and-white color scheme, tile bar wall and subdued evening lighting are on par with corporate owner MCrowd Restaurant Group's original concept – the cuisine of Mexico's capital brought to Texas. Fresh guacamole and especiales de la casa, like the tacos "de brisket" and asados "a la parrilla" are faves.
