  • Melvin Taylor (right) and his brother Lorenzo
Melvin told me that it wasn't until social media and cell phone recordings that he realized that police behavior towards blacks was wrong. He said that growing up, he thought that was normal the way the police treated them. His family didn't have a nice car when he was younger and he said that they were pulled over so many times.
Being African American in this country automatically makes you a suspect for nothing and even more so when you drive a beat up car.
This is wrong.

Demonstrators gathered on Friday to peacefully protest police brutality at Dallas Police Headquarters but after the sun went down, sparks flew and tear gas filled the air.
