In a world where basketball players pull guns on each other in the locker room and assault fans on a fairly regular basis, it's nice to know that the Harlem Globetrotters continue to maintain their squeaky-clean, family-friendly image. Sure, their expositions may lack teeth, but ask Dirk Nowitzki...teeth come with a price. Namely a tetanus shot. The Harlem Globetrotters generally avoid the mugshots and court appearances of their NBA counterparts, focusing instead on perfecting their mix of acrobatic feats and basketball drills, as well as making appearances on everything from Scooby-Doo cartoons to The Amazing Race. In fact, this past season of The Amazing Race featured two of the nicest guys ever to pick up a basketball competing for the prize. Harlem Globetrotters Flight Time Lang and Big Easy Lofton made it all the way to the top four. And when one of the guys crashed and burned during a word-puzzle challenge, costing them both their chance to go to the finals, his teammate simply shrugged and patted him on the back. Ron Artest would have cut him. But that's a testament to the good nature of these talented guys. The "Magicians of Basketball" bring their nice-guy act to Dallas for two shows at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the American Airlines Center, 2500 Victory Ave. Tickets are $21 to $141.
