Tired of being the redheaded stepchild of the family regardless of whether or not you actually have red hair? You can start by remembering to take her out for Mother’s Day. The Doubletree Hotel’s Backdoor Comedy showcase and their rotating collective of seasoned comics will put on a special Mother’s Day Show to help celebrate the woman who endured unspeakable pain just to bring you into this world. Comedian Dean Lewis will host two shows, at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m., and if you have to be reminded at this point that Mother’s Day is on Sunday, you might want to tattoo it on something now. The Doubletree Hotel is located 8250 N. Central Expressway.
