The Dallas Police Department will begin one of many nighttime curfew initiatives that will be conducted throughout the summer. Over 30 Dallas officers will be hitting the streets tonight aggressively looking for those teenagers who are in violation of the curfew law. The operation will be conducted Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. If anyone under the age of seventeen (17) is out between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., on Thursday and 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., on Friday and Saturday will be cited for the violation and brought to police headquarters to be processed and then released to their parent or guardian.
