If “It’s Raining Men” is running through your head, there’s a good reason. It’s the third Saturday of the month, which means it’s time for GAYBINGO at S4 (3911 Cedar Springs Road)!!! It’s the last Gaybingo of the year — even queens gotta reset — and the theme is “Happy Holigays,” natch. Dress up in your brightest tinseled thong and head down to win cash prizes. The evening’s special guest star will be Edna Jean Robinson, Goddess of the Trailer Park, who can “detonate a joke like a breast implant at high altitudes.” Listen up, natural-born ladies, this month’s charitable beneficiary is Texas Equal Access Fund, a nonprofit that helps low-income women cover abortion costs. So when your state government tries to take your rights away, fear not: The gays will support the people who bring them back. Have your blotter erect at 6 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $25 and on sale rcdallas.org/gaybingo.

Keep the Dallas Observer Free... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Dallas with no paywalls.
