He’s a comedic author and actor who has made a name for himself in TV, theater and film. He’s been nominated for both a Grammy and a Tony, and he won the Venice Film Festival’s Golden Lion for Best Actor. But to us, David Alan Grier will always be Antoine Merriweather, one of the best culture critics of all time. His In Living Color days may be over, but Grier continues to bring the laughs in a world where a Dancing with the Stars washout can laugh at himself and all the crazy around him. Named one of Comedy Central’s 100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time, Grier will be taking the stage of the Addison Improv (4980 Belt Line Road, No. 250) this week, so end your weekend with a night of laughs as DAG closes out his run at the Addison Improv at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $20 to $30. Call 972-404-8501 or visit improv.com.
