Next Tuesday, The Orbans release When We Were Wild, their debut full-length and, if I may, quite the ridiculously infectious collection of country-tinged pop-rock anthems and hooks that hit you square in the gut.

A perfect example? The band's lead "single" off the album, "Like A Liar," a song with which fans of our DC9 Live at El Sibil series (not to mention listeners of KKXT-91.7 FM) should already be quite familiar. In a year that's seen plenty of heavy-hitting hooks from local products, The Orbans may have the most affecting of the bunch with this song.

And the slickly produced above video that accompanies the track ain't too shabby either. Give it a watch and a listen.
