It's the final installment of the Edgar Wright directed "Blood and Ice Cream" Trilogy, and won't see wide release until August 23. But the new Alamo Richardson (now set to open on August 9) refuses to wait, so it's announced an early screening of The World's End inside the yet-to-be-opened Alamo, followed by an outdoor double-feature of its companion films, Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz on Thursday, July 25.

The evening is a themed, costume party and all attending are encouraged to dress the part. Alamo suggests appropriate attire as anything from a giant Cornetto ice cream cone to a zombie cop. So go ahead and fumble through that costume drawer labeled "cop, zombie, ice cream hybrids."

Making the night even an even bigger deal, Alamo has invited Wright and series stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost to attend, introduce the new film and hold a Q&A with attendees.

Naturally, you want to go to this. Since the theater can only hold so many fans, you'll need a pass to see the new doomsday comedy. Follow Alamo Drafthouse DFW's Facebook and Twitter accounts, and maybe set a few Google alerts. Alamo says it'll announce ticket information in upcoming weeks. Quick responders are rewarded.

The outdoor screenings of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz are also free but will be offered first come, first served and do not require a special invite.
