Let's be honest: Even if you embiggen this you won't be able to read the proposed downtown bike plan. It's ginormous.
Whilst, below, some of you debate who's more dangerous -- drivers or cyclists or bears, oh my -- this just in from Dallas City Hall: The maps showing the proposed paths for the new-and-improved Dallas Bikeway System were just posted to the bike plan website.  Per the note, the maps -- as well as the proposed lanes and tracks and shoulders and sidewalks suggested for different parts of the system -- have been made available for the non-meeting-attending public to comment on 'em till 5 p.m October 15.

Problem is, comments aren't yet turned on: "In just a few days," says the note, "a comments function will be added to the website where you can provide us with your thoughts and reaction to the proposed bicycle facility recommendations, bicycle network alignments." Hanna just shouted from next door: "That's a lot of cycletrack."
