La Comida

It's hard to miss the larger-than-life pink flamingos on the side La Comida along Beckley Avenue in Oak Cliff. La Comida makes traditional Tex-Mex classics, such as fajitas of every variety, tacos and chicken dishes. But the soul of the restaurant is in the Yucatan-influenced food, from which the owners hail. Try the cochinita pibil tacos topped with marinated onions. The Tropical Ceviche was also a table favorite. This Mayan-style ceviche comes with mahi and shrimp tossed with mango, pineapple and cucumber, all marinated in the house sauce and topped with avocado.
