DOMAXXI: Announcing The Performers For Tuesday Night's (Free!) Awards Ceremony!

In the coming days, we'll be flooding DC9 with more and more exciting news surrounding this year's DOMA Showcase on Saturday and the Awards Ceremony, which will take place starting at 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Granada Theater.

For now, though, let's just get this exciting news out of the way: This year's ceremony, like last year's will feature performances on both the main stage at the Granada and on a second stage toward the back of the room on the main floor.

Last year, the Cannabinoids held things down at that stage on their own; this year, though, we're going a different route. In addition to five performers on the main stage, we'll have another five acts (all culled from our Best Punk Act nominees) on the side stage.

Jump with us to see who'll you'll be raving about come next Wednesday morning...

Main Stage:
Matthew and The Arrogant Sea
RTB2
Dem Southernfolkz
Telegraph Canyon
True Widow

Punk Stage:
Teenage Cool Kids
The Lash Outs
Bad Sports
Drink To Victory
Spector 45

...and much more! Again, stay tuned for more updates in the coming days...

Keep the Dallas Observer Free... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
