The photos span over 4 hours of following the “J20 Dallas Anti Trump March & General Strike,” starting at Lake Cliff Park in Oak Cliff and followed a march through Oak Cliff, Bishop Arts and ended up winding (somehow) all the way back to Cliff Lake Park after being followed, cornered and corralled by police.
At least five protestors were arrested, which a fund has been started to help those arrested get out.

Three protestors were visibly armed and the ideological nature of the protest varied greatly between those participating. According to one carrying, the gun was loaded, but he did not believe in killing and only carried it to show “strength."

A larger, vocal majority (those dressed in mostly black and covering their faces) were mostly anarchists and shouted, “fuck the police,” “fucking pigs,” “all police are bad,” and some on the other spectrum within the same group arguing back and forth that yes, “a lot of police are good.”

Many people showed up and immediately left at the park, before the march, when they discovered the type of protestors and groups that were there to demonstrate.
