Party in the Streets: Fat Tuesday in Deep Ellum

On Tuesday, February 17, a little bit of that Nola flavor made its way onto the streets of Deep Ellum for Fat Tuesday. Dallas Mardi Gras revelers braved their way through the rain and sub-arctic temperatures to march down the street from The Free Man, where The Free Loaders kicked off the party. Photographer Mike Brooks dug up his parka and waterproof lens to capture all of the New Orleans spirit, right in the heart of Dallas.
